Jane Maienschein, co-director of the History of Biology Seminars at MBL, and Kate MacCord, McDonnell Fellow and administrator of the McDonnell Initiative at MBL, talk about their multidisciplinary investigation into regeneration at many scales in this podcast. Maienschein and MacCord were challenged by Susan Fitzpatrick, a member of the MBL Board of Trustees, to find a common thread in the many fields of study that take place at MBL, from microbes to organisms to ecosystems.
