Mission Statement

To contribute to the MBL's overall reputation as a leader in scientific research and education; the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Department seeks to provide employees and students with the education that will help them minimize/eliminate job-related illness, injury, and the potential for property loss.

As a result of being educated in occupational safety and health, employees and students will be able to work safely with hazardous chemicals, biological hazards, and radioisotopes (if necessary).
